Is this really interest-free? What's the catch?

There's no catch. The NSW Government's program offers loans of up to $15,000 at 0% interest, repayable over up to 10 years. You repay only what you borrow — not a cent more.

Does the $116/month cover everything?

The $116/month* repays your solar and battery system, installation included, through the NSW interest-free loan. Your home then connects to an Ezi Power energy plan — that's your new, smaller power bill, replacing your current one. Most households end up spending a similar amount to their old bill overall, but in 10 years, they own the system.

Who is eligible?

Generally, you need to own a property in NSW, have a combined taxable household income of $210,000 or less, and meet a standard credit assessment with one of the program's approved lenders. When you register, we'll help you confirm your eligibility.

What's a VPP (Virtual Power Plant)?

A VPP connects thousands of home batteries into one smart network. When the grid needs extra power — like on a hot summer evening — your battery can share a little of its stored energy, and you get rewarded for it. You're always in control, your home's needs come first, and it happens automatically.

Does Ezi Power provide the loan?

No — the finance is provided by lenders approved under the NSW Government program, subject to eligibility and credit assessment. What Ezi Power does is everything else: the system, the installation, and guidance through the whole process.
